Welcome, I’m Beverly — the heart behind Simply BevAnn. I’m a mom to three amazing adult daughters, a proud Nonna to six energetic grands (three boys and three girls), and a dog mom to three sweet little Yorkie pups who keep life lively. Home is a small suburban homestead where you’ll usually find me tending the garden, gathering eggs from our backyard chickens, sewing something useful (or cozy), cooking from scratch, or dreaming up simple DIY home decor projects. Life didn’t always look this slow. I spent 3 years as an elementary art teacher, later stepping into life as a working artist. Those seasons shaped me deeply and taught me the value of creativity, patience, and finding beauty in everyday moments. These days, I’ve happily traded busy schedules for a quieter rhythm — one rooted in faith, wellness, family, and the joy of doing things with my own two hands. Simply BevAnn is a reflection of my everyday life. You’ll find posts about healthy living, faith-filled reflections, family life, gardening wins (and lessons), backyard chickens, homemaking, and whatever else I’m learning along the way. Nothing fancy. Nothing curated for perfection. Just real life, shared simply.
